If you have a baby that fights and wiggles in their swaddle this product might not be for you. I would wrap my baby snuggly in the miracle blanket, as described in the directions, and she would wrestle so much that the fabric would ride up from her shoulders all the way past her chin, coming dangerously close to covering her mouth. In my opinion it’s not as safe and doesn’t stay in place as well as the Velcro swaddles.

I LOVE this blanket and can’t believe I didn’t know about this miracle blanket before. I don’t know how to swaddle, so the way this blanket is set up really helps. All you have to do is put their legs into the pouch, wrap their arms in the arm wings and then bring the short right-side flap over the belly and the long left-side flap around the body. That’s it, your baby is swaddled. There are instructional videos on YouTube as well to help you out. This swaddle has helped my baby sleep for 5-6 hours in the night at 8weeks old and he also sleep in his bassinette.

Update: One week in, after one gentle wash and typical use I just found a small hole. Not too optimistic about how long this will last :(

Love this! It’s so easy to use and it’s much less bulky than using muslin blankets. My son usually grunts so much in his sleep trying to wiggle out of his swaddle that he wakes me up constantly but slept soundly till he was hungry last night. He’s been busting out of his swaddle every night lately but couldn’t with this so it’s great for little Houdini babies. My son is big too, already 15lbs at 8 weeks but I’m positive we’ll be able to use this until he no longer needs to be swaddled. This will definitely be something I gift to new parents!

While the pattern of this Miracle blanket is cute, the length of the wrap-around piece is actually shorter than the plain coloured Miracle Blankets. My daughter is able to get out of this patterned one very quickly which means we can only use it for short naps and cannot use it for overnight. This is very disappointing considering we bought two so that they could be interchangeable and not have to worry about laundering the other one quickly when it was dirty.

THIS IS A LIFESAVER, buy this swaddle right now. Our little one at a few weeks old would seriously manage to get his left arm out of ANY swaddle. No matter how tight we wrap or velcroed him on, that left arm would cause him to wake up. This swaddle has little arm flaps that use the weight of their own body to keep their arms wrapped ALL NIGHT!!! He went from 3 hours to 5-7 hours every night. They named this product correctly. I would do a load of laundry just to ensure this swaddle is clean for night time. It is a miracle!!

I tried the Miracle Blanket along with the SwaddleMe blanket to see which one would keep my baby's arms secured in snuggly. This blanket is far superior for this purpose. My baby cannot get his arms out at night and thus sleeps far more soundly. I think the SwaddleMe blanket might be better for transitioning to arms out sleeping when baby is older, but for now the Miracle Blanket is exactly what I needed.

Only swaddle that helps our active baby sleep. Have tried halo, woombie, love to dream swaddle up, swaddle me.... but this is the only one that works. She can get her hands out of everything else. This lets her calm down and sleep. At 4months she still loves to sleep in this compared to unswaddled or in the other swaddles. Highly recommend. We prefer the owls pattern to the plain aqua one. The fabric is a bit different.

Once she fell asleep she was asleep for a super long stretch and didn’t wake up (so five stars in that front), but it took an hour to get her to fall asleep (in my arms) as she fought it so hard and was super upset about not being able to suck her hands. Tried it a few more times and nothing improved, so we are in to trying something that gives her some freedom of movement with her arms in hopes that will help.
